Elizabeth Gilbert

Elizabeth found her passion for dance over 20 years ago and is still loving every moment she gets to spread and share that passion with others, especially her students. She started at a very young age at a few different studios until she made Rocky Mountain School of Dance her second home in Casper, Wyo where she worked with quite a few guest artists and companies including The San Francisco Ballet and The Organ Ballet. During those times she attended Snowy Range Dance Festival a few times and competed in the Wyoming and Colorado area. After graduating from high school, Elizabeth studied dance at Casper Community College, graduated with her Associate's of Arts in Dance, then transferred to University of Wyoming where she graduated with her Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Dance in 2012. While studying, she had the opportunity to perform in shows such as Thumbelina as Mama Toad, D-Man in the Water by Bill T Jones, a demi-soloist in The Nutcracker, and Six Songs from Ellis: original works by Marsh Knight. After graduating she began her teaching adventure working with all different types of studios in Wyoming and North Dakota. She recently moved to Billings from Grand Fork, North Dakota where she worked at North Dakota Ballet Company for six years as the Pre Professional Division Coordinator and Production Assistant.
