Megan Grosso
Megan Grosso’s love for performing started at a very young age. She started dancing at the age of three, and started singing and acting a few years later. She grew up in Billings, and attended Diversity Dance Studio under the direction of Lisa Oppegaard and Amantha Vandiviere, as well as the School of Classical Ballet, under the direction of Betty Loos, Jana Stockton, and Julia Marble. While dancing in Billings, Megan had the opportunity to train under guest artists such as Tessandra Chavez, Theo Ivey, Ambrose Respicio, Melissa Sandvig, and Kirsten Cooper. Throughout school, she enjoyed participating in the school plays and musicals. Megan was also a part of her Speech and Drama Department during high school, where she won the Divisional and State Competitions all four years in Pantomime.
Megan just graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre – Dance Emphasis from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. She trained under Fosse dancer, Jane Lanier, Shanna VanDerwerker, Tammy Mader, Nancy Hess, Jumaane Taylor, Sarah Schafer, and Laura Wade. During her last four years, she especially enjoyed performing in Anything Goes, Crazy for You, and A Chorus Line. She loves all forms of dance, but especially jazz, musical theatre, and tap. Megan is excited to share her passions with local dancers this year as a teacher at Montana Dance Center.
