It's that time again! While we are in the hustle and bustle and excitement of recital and all these end-of-year activities, we are already looking forward to next year! And hence, we announce that SCB Company auditions are right around the corner. (Auditions for other MDC groups will be announced soon too!)
If you haven't seen us yet, SCB Company is a small group of some of the studios hardest working and most talented dancers who want to explore their love of ballet through a company experience.
Are you a hard-working, dedicated dancer whose love of ballet pushes you to want to train more, learn more, and perform more in the art of ballet? Then we would like to see you at the Audition!
SCB 2nd ANNUAL COMPANY AUDITION
Wednesday, May 31
4:30 - 6:00 pm
Studio is open at 4:00 for warm up and registration.
Dancers accepted into the Company as a dancer or apprentice will be asked to stay 6:00-6:30 pm, for a Q & A session with parents invited.
The audition will consist of a short class. Please bring your pointe shoes.
Audition fee is $10, cash only please.
New for the 2023-24 season, SCB Company will be offering a limited number of apprentice positions to dancers who are just as driven, hard-working, and inspired by ballet as the Company dancers but who are not yet at the same level of skill and ability. Because of this, we truly do invite all dancers who are interested in Company to audition, even if they are not yet at an advanced level.
To be considered for Company, dancers must be at least 13 years of age by January of their first year of participation. Please visit the Company webpage to read all eligibility and requirements of Company members!
