Meet Elizabeth Gilbert!

We have invited Liz to join our faculty this summer when she moves here from her current position teaching in ND, and we are so excited to have her share her knowledge and love of movement with our dancers!

Liz Gilbert found her passion for dance over 20 years ago and is still loving every moment she gets to spread and share that passion with others, especially her students.

Originally from Casper, Wyoming, Liz started dancing at a very young age and continued dancing, performing, and competing through high school. After graduating, she attended Casper Community College and received her Associates of Arts in Dance. She then transferred to the University of Wyoming where she graduated with her Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Dance back in 2012.

Liz has had the opportunity to work with a large handful of choreographers and performed in their works including Marsha Knight's original works “Six Songs from Ellis,” as a demi-soloist in The Nutcracker, and in “D-Man in the Water” by Bill T. Jones. She is excited to start a new chapter in her life in Montana, and continue to bring joy and appreciation of the art of dance to this community.

This summer, Liz will be teaching three ongoing classes:

Beginner Ballet for Levels 1 & 2

Mondays 3-4:14 pm

Intermediate Ballet for levels 3 & 4

Mondays 4:15-5:45 pm

Int-Adv Contemporary Modern

Mondays 6:00-7:15 pm

To register for these fun classes, go to your Parent Portal in DSP, and click on "Register for Classes" and choose "Summer 2022," or chat with us at the studio! And be sure to give a welcoming hello to Liz when you see her.
