Kyla began her professional dance career at the age of sixteen with Eliot Feld's Ballet Tech in New York City, and began performing as an aerialist while working with Dzul Dance. Additional past dance credits include Elisa Monte Dance, Battery Dance Company, C. Eule Dance, and White Wave Dance Company.

Kyla is one half of aerial duo RAVEN. She was a featured performer in The Devouring, an immersive dance, circus, and cabaret show in residence at the Times Square Edition, and pre-pandemic could be seen performing in all the fabulous venues and special events in NYC and beyond, including Slipper Room, The Box, House of Yes, and Paradise Club. Kyla is currently a member of Encounters Dance, Indelible Dance, and ABCirque, the resident performance company of circus school The Muse Brooklyn.

Kyla is on the teaching staff of The Muse Brooklyn and Body & Pole. During the pandemic, Kyla is teaching donation-based and sliding scale ground classes via Instagram, Zoom, and YouTube.
