Samantha Sandefur

Samantha began her dance journey during her junior year of high school in Los Angeles, California, where she was a member of her high school dance team. After relocating to Montana, she continued her training at CDS and quickly became a dedicated member of the studio. Following her second year at CDS, she began working as a class demonstrator and, in 2013, became the Owner and Director of CDS. After closing her studio in 2022, Samantha joined Julia Marble at The School of Classical Ballet, where she brought her Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop curriculum. In addition to teaching, she now assists with administrative operations at the school, contributing both her creative and organizational talents.
Her performance and choreography credits include four years as a Miss Montana Dancer, the role of Cha-Cha in the 2001 Billings production of Grease, and choreographer for Venture Theater’s Wired 2001 and Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. From 2006 to 2008, she also served as coach and choreographer for the Billings Most Wanted Outlaw Cheerleaders.
Samantha has continued to pursue her professional development through numerous workshops and conventions, training with renowned instructors such as Ray Leeper and Gregg Russell. She has attended events including 24/Seven, NUVO, MDAA, the Dance Teacher Summit, and completed the ABT Teacher Curriculum Training in 2021.
